Sekolah Pelita Harapan is a system of five international Christian K-12 campuses, located in and around Jakarta. The schools began in 1993 in response to a need for quality education founded upon Biblical Christian truth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the school, aligning with the mission and values of Sekolah Pelita Harapan.
- Oversee the daily operations of the school, including academic programs, faculty management, student affairs, and administrative functions.
- Ensure that the school maintains high academic standards and promotes a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
- Lead and mentor the school’s teaching staff, providing professional development opportunities and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote the well-being and holistic development of students.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the broader school community, promoting open communication and engagement.
- Manage the school’s budget and resources effectively, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and priorities.
- Oversee student admissions, discipline, and the implementation of character-building programs.
- Ensure compliance with national and international education standards, including curriculum development and accreditation requirements.
- Represent the school in community and educational forums and strengthen partnerships with external organizations.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in an international or private school setting.
- Proven track record of leadership and school management experience.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, educational policies, and teaching best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive school culture.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and school operations management.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and fostering a culture of lifelong learning.
